THRILLED, AMAZED, OVER THE MOON!

 

These are just some of the feelings after the Big 2017 Sale.  Whether you were a first time sale shopper or a veteran returning for another look through the phenomenal number of donations from far and wide, you found the deals.  LADIES, YOU ARE AMAZING.  Thank you to all of the donors who were so very generous to give and thank you to all of the shoppers who came to the sale.  Raising more than $10,000 this year made us so very proud of what we love to do (okay and maybe just a little teary too).  Purse raffle tickets sales were the best ever and helped to push us past our $10,000 goal.

Thanking everyone individually is just not possible.  However, the event would never happen without some very amazing women who come together to laugh, sort shoes, sell raffle tickets and perhaps shop for a pair or two themselves!  Dawn Alstad, Lynda Mason, Toni Starkell, Angel Agassiz, Margaret Moores, Kathy Peterson, June Kiessling, Deanna Connelly, and Vanessa Starkell, you ladies rock.  We missed Coralie Tolley this year who was attending the U2 concert in Vancouver (so jealous). Also buckets of gratitude to Kathleen and Grant coming all the way from Calgary and my wonderful sister, Margaret and brother-in-law, Terry, from Lethbridge to help with the set-up and sale!

I think you get the message, the saying it takes a village to raise a child - well it takes a team with big hearts and boundless energy and the generosity of MANY, to create this successful event.
